COURTESTY POSTING FOR ROXANNE- SHE IS NOT A CHR HORSE, BUT ADOPTION APPLICATION MUST GO THROUGH US AND BE APPROVED.
Roxanne is an approximate 22-23 yo, 16 H, Bay Thoroughbred mare.
From the current owner: "She is my MIL horse and had a tough winter last year. She's been at our place for a while getting senior pellets and rice bran to try and get her weight back up. Teeth were floated in the spring!! Has a tattoo on inside top lip."
We were also told that Roxanne is sound and has been ridden in parades and a funeral in the past but is not currently being ridden. I don't believe the tattoo is readable.
Roxanne's owner is looking for her FOREVER HOME and someone who can give her extra attention, feed her extra feed to keep her weight on, blanket her in the winter if needed, and give her lots of love.
Roxanne's Adoption Fee is $300 and owner is willing to transport approximately 2 hours of Bottineau as that's where she's currently at. *NOTE* This is a courtesy post for the owner and an adoption application must go through us at Copperhead Horse Rescue to ensure a good home for her. Upon approval of an adoption application, we will get you in contact with the current owner.
